The Old Woman and the Physicianپیرزن و پزشک معالج او
An old woman who had lost the sight of her eyes went to a physician. "Cure my blindness," the old woman said,"and I will pay you well. But if you can not cure my eyes, I will pay you nothing."The physician agreed and he came to her house each week and applied some worthless salve to her eyes. But each time he quietly carried a piece of furniture away with him. This went on until he had stolen what she had in her house. Then the physician gave her a salve that cured her,and the old woman could see again. Now that she had got her sight, she saw that her house was bare, and therefore she paid him nothing.The physician took her to court.The old woman stood before the judge and said,"This man speaks the truth. I did agree to pay him well if he cured my eyes and he agreed that I pay him nothing if he could not do that. Now he says that I am cured. But, I say I am still blind, for when I lost the sight of my eyes my house was filled with furniture, but now I am not able to see any of it.The judge voted in favour of the old woman, saying, "Those who are so ready to take what is not their own must be prepared to lose what is theirs."

This is a beautiful story. but I'm not sure that it's true.Because there are very people in world that they even take the healthy of people but they aren't sad and they don't have any problems.

Dear zahra, whatever we do in this world have their own reactions. If we do some body good surely we will receive its reaction and if we behave badly, we'll be given the same.
this doctor is very bad and health should be more important than everything in life.when we are healthy we can get everything that we like.but when we are sick and wealthy life is not pretty to us

I think when a sick person go to doctor ask for him to cure him ,the doctor should be trustworthy and try very hard to come back his health to him
Now about a person who take things that blong to another person such as this doctor doesn't do a praiseworthy work against he will lose his important things that never come back tohim and this is a experience for him to not stealing
The great leson from this strory is to be honest in our life! Not to abuse our situattion! what ever is our job and role in a comunity , one of the most important duties is to respect the people rights .
Of course the old woman was not certeinly right by saying if you cure me I'll pay you but the guy was absolutely wrong by his manear!
I think everything that we have and we really enjoy having them are the things that we really tried to earn them and every thing that we earn without any try will be sissapeared fram our life soon and we never can enjoy it even when it is ours.
According to these sentences that you have written we shouldn’t take other thing and we must ask every thing that we want to God because our God is very kind another thing that we should pay attention to it is trying to get every thing that we want
I am not sure that I realize the factual sense of this story but I think when we try to make a thing our selves or show we do a work which we do not ,althou if we succeeid we miss another thing in another place &Its harm receave us soon.I think in this story the physician made a profit because the cost of funiture probably was higher than the mony which she was due to pay to him
According this passege every time we should be contented about every thing that God give them to us; ofcourse we should try to gain more thing in good and right way and say thanks to God for his affluence.
this story wants to tell us that we should not abuse other people trust.we should be truthworthy in our life.if we do some works for other people we should do that in the best way.
The doctor wanted to receive more money than what he deserved it . He wanted to earn much money by telling lie . But perhaps he forgot that always truth defeats false. Of course the old woman musn't trust to doctor and let him come into her house when she was alone in the house and none of her friends or her relatives weren't with her.
the result of story :of course fram my eyesight, in fact this man located in a examination that he chose the wrong way and saw its final.
Human must not has greed in life. Everyone who has greed thinks to be clever but he earns less from his right.
we should contented in life those who are to abuse from confidence of the people and they will see rezult of their act they should so ready to lose what is theirs
We infer that we want everything for myself we must want it for other people. And we mustn't think to our self. If we earn something we surely lose something.
We shoud not trust in every body . we must be logical in life .
We shoud not abuse the trust of the people. We shoud not give their riches with force .we shoud not tell lie and be truseworthy we shoud help other people if we know that they can not answer our help.
i think a good docter never does this work.and this man was not a doctor he was a burglar.i think the best Wage for a docter is curing sick people because he earns the best wage from god.
a person who take what is not their own with the trick they should waite for the result their act.at the end of they to lose what is theirs.
we think that we shouldnt beleive the others easily and we must be consious about every things we cant have every things because we must lose a thing and earn other things .success after failure and stand bad events
