Hijab in England School (15 October 2006)سرنوشت معلمی با حجاب و نقاب در یک مدرسه در انگلیس

The 23-year-old insists the veil is not a communication barrier

Should teachers be allowed to wear a veil?

An argument has broken out after a Muslim teaching assistant was suspended because she wouldn't remove her veil in some lessons.
Aishah Azmi, 24, works at a junior school in Dewsbury and said she was happy to take off her veil in front of children, but not other men working at the school.
Some people think she should be made to remove her veil in school at all times, but others think it should be her choice. Two important members of the government said on Sunday that she shouldn't wear a veil in lessons.
Ms Azmi said she had never received complaints from pupils, but was told her veil could not be worn in class.
She said she would remove the garment, but not in front of male colleagues.
Ms Azmi told the BBC her veil had not caused problems with the children, with whom she had a "brilliant relationship".
"The children are aware of my body language, my eye expressions, the way I'm saying things."

What do you think? Should she remove her veil???

We live in a country where many people are Islamopobic, whether they recognoe it or not - BUT - on this issue, the teacher should not wear a veil. It is just too devisive in our society and promotes division and hatred - it is also offensive on other levels, particularly since it degrades women, or at least that is what many of us perceive.

Hi my dear teacher
In my opinion, every body have right for to choose and anybody cannot take this right I think this woman never leave her hijab If she has strong faith. If I was this woman, I was going to other country because . I think ,I can not have a good life in somewhere there is not in it liberty of conscience .

In my opinion, everybody patents in expression of idea.In fact,we shouldn,t protrusion our idea to othres, because it,s possible incorrect. Also there is freedom in every religion.I think that she is believer so resistance on belief is the basis of religion.
